How can i use google maps plugin in droidscript

Oh my bad, I mean using google map api for droidscript, without using the mapview plugin since you need to pay for you to download it

Not sure what you want your app to do.

has details of how to use DS intents to open the users default map app, or open Google maps at a specific location.

https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/urls/android-intents

has more intents for opening Google Maps for locations, directions, streetview (in Java and Kotlin, so you'd have to translate)

If you search the web for Google Maps Intent you'll find more.
If you want to do it all in your app you probably need to buy the plug-in (or write your own, which is not facile).

Hi,

I've paid to support the developer of the plugin from the google play store, installed the MapView Plugin on a Samsung S21 Ultra (Android 11) and hit the new "MapView Plugin" icon on my android desktop, I then clicked the arrow icon on the right of the "Search for a place" testbox and got the "Restart DroidScript now" popup; after restarting DS there is no additional plugin in my DS ver 2.09:

Any thought what is it I'm missing?

I believe the plugin developer monitors this group, but you could contact directly.

On Google Play there's a developer email (at the bottom right).

Do you have any notes on how to submit an app to the Play Store? 

How long did it take to be reviewed?

I submitted an app months ago, they said there would be a delay, 

then they added requirements (covid and user data), now I have reports including 

! error Security - unsafe unzipping pattern (I don't have a  zip/unzip, perhaps the APK unzips itself?) 

10 StrictMode policy violations

(8 This issue may be associated with Google- supplied library Android WebView. We know about this issue, and we are working on it. There is nothing you need to do at the moment.") 

2 Slow rendering, 1 cold start time, 

8 accessibility issues (content labelling, touch target size, low contrast)

screenshots include "Welcome to Chrome", Chrome password sync, "This image couldn't load correctly"
