Removing Tick Labels and centering the XYPlot grid

I'm having trouble removing the tick labels and centering the grid inside of the layout.   I'm able to hide the tick labels by settings them transparent however I can't seem to find a way to center the grid in the layout, see screenshot

Ultimately my goal is to have a simple XYPlot centered horizontally without tick labels and without the tick lines sticking out of the grid.  Anyone have any ideas to accomplish this or is it not possible?
