Hi Gmail users!

We're excited to announce a new update to the Gmail Android app. Starting today here are some changes you may notice:

Checkboxes next to your mail: When you press on an icon next to your message, you'll see the photo or letter flip and appear as a checkbox so you know which conversations are selected before you take action. 

Sync and Outbox Status: From time to time you may decide to turn off sync. Now the Android App will alert you if any of these settings are still on, so you can now which email accounts you're syncing between your phone and other devices. 

New design: We have updated the style of our conversations cards as well as how subject, recipient and sender information is displayed.
