Hey all! I've been trying to get Android-x86 installed on my Asus T100 for the past few days. Anyone whos attempted this knows how frustrating this can be as the device has no legacy mode and does not accept x64 UEFI.

Anyway, I found Magic Stick. I followed the instructions (here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-8-rt/win-8-development/live-asus-t100-ta-magic-stick-t3091481) from the developer to actually "install" x86 onto the tablet, but he has no instructions listed as to how to actually install grub.

I want android to be the ONLY operating system on this tablet, so I have formated the entire internal drive as ext4 and copied the files to it. But because there is no bootloader (grub) and its not flagged as bootable BIOS doesn't even see the drive and I obviously can't boot to android.

Anyone here who has done this and could offer some help would be appreciated. I cannot seem to get in contact with the developer of the Magic Stick (cheatman).

To boot from UEFI BIOS, you need an EFI System Partition (ESP).
So you need to create two partitions.
The first is the ESP partition (vfat) and the second for android-x86 (ext4).
Then install android-x86 4.4-r3 as you did.
When prompt "Do you want to instll EFI GRUB2"
and "Do you want to format the boot partition",
say yes to both.

That's all. Simple?

Hi Cody, I have an Asus T200 which is very similar to your model. Try to check my solution here: http://www.android-x86.net/index.php?topic=760.msg1604#msg1604. In T100 case this solution also works with Huang's 4.4-r3 UEFI image without any change.
