Hi guys,
First I would like to thank you for all your hard work : using virtualbox+android-x86 is
much easier to use than the super slow emulator :)
Anyway, I was wondering whether ICS would be a good opportunity to try to get closer to
cyanogenmod.
I don't know how difficult it would be, but I suspect that the work required for
android-x86 to support ICS is substantial. And it could very well be that moving
to the cyanogenmod build system wouldn't add too much of an extra burden
in that particular context...
I though that android-86 could benefit for all the interest that ICS is generating
right now. And getting new committers from the numerous cyanogen developers.
Finally, I have the impression that ICS is the lightweight OS I am waiting for
for years : an elegant and fast system to browse the web, read mails, listen to
music and watch movies !! And the low hardware requirements make it
the ideal OS for older computers :)
What do you think ?
Cheers,
Carl.
