with only a little bit of confusion, i kept trying a x64 bit version as technically this is a x64 bit tablet. That led to 2 wasted days of trying to figure out why i was always booted to a completely black screen. 32bit 7.1 rc2 works out of the box. sound, playing video (tried netflix, no lag at all smooth play) wifi works even dual band. shoot even bluetooth works, haven't tried to play games as without a true touch screen and the wacom pen not snapping to new location it wouldn't probably be worth it.. The only significan issue i've faced is shutting the lid and opening it leads to android restart, but i think i saw fixes for that. dual boot also works flawlessly, i installed windows 10 first on the latter half of the hard drive first, then android on the first half of the drive formatted in ext4. the installer detected windows and asked if i wanted to add an entry and indeed it did and it works.
The only sad thing is the wacom pen will move the curser but only from the previous location. if you left it in the center of the screen then placed the pen in the upper right hand corner and moved it downward the curser will start from where you left it in the center and move down. Also this tablet seems to lack orientation sensors or android x86 doesn't have working drivers for them, the orientation button on the screen also is not mapped to switching orientation so if an app switches orientation its stuck that way until reboot unless you go into android settings and set it to never change orientation.
That being said I bought this thing off ebay for 100 bucks lol. If you have the opportunity this thing is a lot faster than i expected for what i paid and I can run both android and windows 10 off the same tablet... worth it.
