I have few devices with 3g/4g modem and i would like to use Android x86 and be online, but its possible only through hotspot.

There are only 2 major vendors of such devices Sierra and Ericsson and in Linux (Mint) its working fine for long time..
Why is not working with Android x86?

Because mobile data isn't a priority for developers right now.
You're welcome to submit patches though.

Pleas reconsider it, Android x86 would be great OS replacement for Windows convertibles.. Im using Windows mainly for that.

The problem is I think no developer has such a device.
(I had an old Huiwei USB modem before but it was broken)

Basically you need to add a rild for your modem.
The reference-ril in hardware/ril is a good start.

I have a tablet with an LTE modem in it. Can I provide info and have some help getting it enabled?

I'd love to be able to play GPS enabled games on my tablet

With the entire world moving to mobile devices and mobile data, maybe
the developers ought to reconsider their priorities?

Gladly!

Donated $25 this time, will do more in future as well

Also willing to put my hardware on the line for development testing if desired
