Hello, I'm a beginner in Android x86,
I use the Android x86 6.0.1 live usb with my Acer Aspire Switch 10e (SW3-016 Cherrytrail),

no wifi, no bluetooth, no sound, no battery, no OTG usb, no accelerate, etc.

wifi is the most import thing.

the wifi/bluetooth module is using BRCM BCM43241 (SDIO), I could find this driver, but when I use command "ls /sys/bus/sdio/devices/", there is nothing.

please tell me what is the first thing I should do? and what information should I provide?

Thanks

Regards,
Yui

You seems to have good knowledge about linux.
I suggest you trace sdio related code
(drivers/mmc/core/sdio*, etc)
to see why it's not listed.

You may also try the newer kernel
to see if it is helpful.
(kernel-4.9 branch is ready in our repo)

Hi, thanks for your reply,

could you provide the repo command to change the kernel to 4.9?

I could not find it in the http://www.android-x86.org

thanks,

Regards,
Yui

cd kernel
git fetch x86 kernel-4.9
git checkout x86/kernel-4.9
cd ..

Also make sure you have updated
to the latest codebase to get fixes
for kernel 4.9.

Good news,

the kernel-4.9 still does not work,

but after I follow this work around and rebuild the kernel, the wifi works

Next is the sound, any suggestion?

Thanks

Yui

Hi, would you like to tell me also how you managed to make your wifi work, because the link you gave don't exist now.
