Hi, I have win 10, debian, android x86 KitKat r3 on my system. All are bootable directly from EFI.

But, if I add win 10 and android to debian's grub2 menu, then only android can't boot:

.......load android on /dev/sda3: kernel invalid signature......
.......you have to load kernel first ........

I have disable EFI secure boot.
I have Ubuntu grub2-efi before this and android x86 is bootable from Ubuntu grub menu,,

I found some different between debian's grub2-EFI and Ubuntu's grub2-EFI :

Ubuntu uses shimx64.efi while debian uses grub2x64.efi

so, how to chain load androidx86 through debian's grub

hi Miker, I think you miss the point. I'd rather not have grub2 as a lone loader only, such as grub2win.
I want full grub2 with a distro. It a must for me for maintenance. Also gnome3 on debian is quite beatiful an os for touch

Ya  I get that you can have Windows boot and GI to grub2 or Linux boot and go to grub2. Personally I when I has win 10 I had major issues with going to rescue/safe because u was on Linux to grub2. I hated win 10 any so I went back to Win 7. No I have win 7 boot and grub2 for linux , androids. .

However you want ... And I'm speaking regular grub2. Guessing the EDI version should be similar...

I have win7. Mint 17. Android 4.4RC2. Android 6.0 test...

Ah Mint, can you tell me your feel about Mint, it is designed for touch. I am discovering gnome on Debian , touch is so so.  however Gnome is better than Unity
