Hi,

I tested both Android x86 9.0 (64-bit) and Bliss OS 11.10 (the Android x86 based version) and so far most things are working great.

Sadly audio isn't working at all. If I try to connect a bluetooth speaker, the sound stutters. But bluetooth audio wouldn't be necessary if in-built audio worked.

The tablet I'm using: Linx 12x64 (pre-installed Win 10 64-bit by default)

http://support.linxtablets.com/Products/Linx12X64

For testing I installed Ubuntu 19.10 with kernel 5.3. Audio here is working out of the box. Would it be possible to manually integrate the drivers into existing Android x86? Or is there any other solution to the sound problem?

Here are some additional infos, maybe it helps.

Sorry for the late reply.

I tried what you suggested. I created an asound.state under Ubuntu using alsactl store command, because at /var/lib/alsa I could not find it.

Copied to /system/etc/alsa/chtnau8824.state it made no difference, still no sound.

Btw. the used card really seems to be chtnau8824, at least I get it listed with alsa_aplay -l as first entry.

Maybe some other ideas?

but your ubuntu chtnau8824 is card1, hdmi is card0,
alsactl store chtnau8824 -f /root/chtnau8824.state
copy to Androidx86, alsa_ctl restore -f /system/etc/alsa/chtnau8824.state

Hi,

I have been absent for a while, so the late reply.

In case you are still interested, here is the ALSA state file for my audio device (chtnau8824).

Note, that I edited parameters for following mixer controls:

* Speaker Right DACR
* Speaker Left DACL
* MIC1

These controls contain, at least for my device, volume levels for left and right speakers plus the value for in-build microphone. At default all parameters were set to very low values, which resulted in insufficient output sound volume (plus poor input for microphone).
