Android-x86 versions tested: 8.1-r6 and 9.0-r2

Does anyone know how to fix it?

thats understandable because the app was ment for phones and tablets. it could also mean that your API is massively outdated, also, most apps now require at least the latest version of android 9, november 2019, or android 10 and above, as a sidenote, talkback requires a higher api than 28. there's an aosp build on fdroid, for visually impaired folks who want to run x86 android without using jenux which installs an outdated build of talkback. as for the app crashing, try an older version

An older version of the App? If so, that is not possible.
