Well resolution is pre-defined by kernel, you can change density by pressing Alt+F1 to get ADB Terminal, and than typing: WM DENSITY 160 ,Press [ENTER] and type reboot, again [ENTER].

For chaning landscape mode to portrait you can use apps from playstore ( just enter landscape and you will find alot of theme )
