I'm running the stable release on my Sony Vaio laptop, but Netflix crashes as soon as I launch it. I have Remix OS running on the same device and Netflix is working properly. I also am getting a message under Android-x86 when trying to watch a video in Google Play Movies that my device is unsupported. Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem?

Netflix uses arm libraries. Try enabling "App compatibility" on settings and wait some minutes until arm libraries are downloaded

I was able to get Netflix working after enabling Apps compatibility like you said, though I had to clear data and cache on the Netflix app afterwards even though I had uninstalled and reinstalled the app after compatibility was enabled. It must have still stored some state. I'm also able to get Hulu to work.

I'm still not having luck with Google Play Movies. It still says my device isn't supported. In addition if I try to download a video from my library I get the message 'couldn't fetch license (error -1).

I am having the exact same issue. Same exact scenario as the OP. I couldn't get netflix to run but found the "app compatibility" setting. Turning that on allowed Netflix to work.

I also can't play any videos via Google Play Movies. I get the same error mentioned above. Does anybody have the solution for this? Pretty useless if you can't play any videos via Google Play.
