video playback works on intel hd chipset

Is this project still being worked on?
I went to install it on a desktop. I was able to boot off the memory key and select the option to installed, but the keyboard stopped working on the menus after the first. I was able to boot and run it off the LiveCD image and the keyboard work. I was also able to successfully install HBOGo and the HDHomerun, but the HDHomerun couldn't handle HD channels. My guess is they Hardware Video MPEG decoding doesn't work.
So far, I'm very impressed with the progress, but it's been a while.
