Hi, I´m trying to use Android x86 4.4 in my carputer and I´ve found one issue I hope you can help me to solve. I know that there a few topics about this but none of them solves my problem. I have connected an old PS2 keyboard controller to enable some external buttons with the most usual actions like go back, main menu or recent apps. The problem is that every time I boot I have to manually switch off the physical keyboard to enable the virtual one. I can modify the exclude-input-devices.xml but I lost the external buttons so it´s not a valid solution. So the question is... how I can make this change permanent? I mean, is there any file or switch I can modify or any script I can run every time I start the carputer to make this change and disable the hardware keyboard?

Thanks in advance.

In the notification bar, you can disable hardware keyboard, if you about to start to type, and "input" is showning to you

Thanks, I know it but the goal is to avoid doing it every time I boot. Anyway I have found a workaround using tasker and a plugin called secure settings that let me create one task that is launched once the carputer is started and disables the physical keyboard. It´s not perfect but at least, it works.
