Hi,

I have some doubt in Android x86 boot option

  /ubnkern initrd=/ubninit root=/dev/ram0 androidboot_hardware=generic_x86 acpi_sleep=s3_bios,s3_mode video=-16 quiet SRC= DATA = DPI=240 [This is a normal command]

i have two configurations of Intel pc`s [Core to Duo and Intel Atom ]. For Core to Duo i don`t need to change anything.some drivers are not working properly . but i need to put nomodeset parameter for Intel Atom.Problem is i got different UI [Large Size Text,Large Size Icon] compared to Core to Duo machine but good thing is All drivers are working properly .

i dont understand whats the difference between boot with nomodeset and boot without nomodeset

It's about who is initializing the graphic card.

Normally the kernel is doing it.

If you don't want that, then you use "nomodeset".

Then another program (usually "X") has to initialize the graphic card.
