Chaps, I have a different use case. Linux KVM+QEMU+pci-passthrough of the GPU.
First of all Threadripper has no iGPU. The motherboard is an ASRock Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming.
I want to add Android-x86 as a 4th VM to my Linux KVM hypervisor, with its own graphics card.
The hypervisor is Arch Linux. With its own GPU, an Asus GeForce GT 710 1GB in the PCI-e x1 slot.
The first VM is Arch Linux (w/ its own AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100), the 2nd VM is Windows 10 (w/ its own AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100), the 3rd VM is OS X (w/ its own AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100), and the 4th VM would be Android-x86 (w/ its own ?????).
So I'm looking for the 5th graphics card to add.
But I receive an error by email in response to my request.
See attached screenshot. I have a Radeon RX 480 8GB spare but that is a 2-slot solution and would probably hamper airflow. We'll see.
