Recently, I tried many android emulators. Unfortunately most of them were installing malware/viruses on my pc (I downloaded them from their official site). So, with the Console OS drama, I wanted to give Android-x86 a go.

Tried Bluestacks and it was installing some adware/malware on my PC at background. Genymotion doesn't run an app I want to play. About Andyroid, I read that the company is a primary distributor of adware type software. I was about to install Windroy but I wanted to try this one first.

What about Android-x86? Does it install any adware/malware on my pc? Also, is it safe to use my main account (like my email at gmail, on playstore etc) on this emulator without having to worry about them being being stored on Android-86 server (if they have). Are my credentials being sent and stored on Android-x86 server?

How can it install malware if your windows is untouched?

Also about app compatibility, I think genymotion is much more compatible.
Sorry 😔

And I also use my main google account.
