Hello! I've been trying to install Android TV x86 onto my HTPC that I built a few years ago. Here are its specs....

AMD FX-4350 Quad-Core Processor 4.20 GHz (I know this processor is a little old but it still performs top notch)
RAM 16GB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB VRAM
Motherboard Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0 (I feel like the motherboard has something to do with my problem. It isn't EFI)

Kernel: 4.4.34-android-x86

I have been using the ISO file from https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/device-reviews-and-information/android-tv-x86-t3726365. I used the latest download available. Now, when I try and install it to my computer, the computer boots up but only stays on a  black screen that says "Android fugu:/#" and it stays like that forever. I know it has something to do with the AMD processor but I don't know what. Can somebody guide me to installing this properly?

Thanks in advance

The problem is about your GPU.

For CPU it works completely fine.
Your GPU is too new and no open source GPU stack support (mesa).

Please try an AMD or Intel GPU, or much older Nvidia GPU to get supported by mesa.

Thanks.

What would happen if I disable my graphics processor? I might try that.

A gtx 1050ti should work more or less fine in android x86 if using a newer ISO, TOSAnthony will be releasing his oreo version soon on XDA, I would give that a try

Alright thanks! I'll keep my eye out for that!
