Dear group,

I have now made an updated version of wacom-input. This version allows to customize the device type, serial port and pressure threshold. Also, if linuxwacom does their job right, there should be no need to calibrate.
Thus, most TabletPCs should be supported, including
  • IBM ThinkPad X41t / X60 / X61t
  • Toshiba M200 / M205 / M400 / r20 / r25 / Tecra M7
  • Fujitsu-Siemens T421x
  • HP/Compaq TC1100 / TC4200 / TC4400
  • Acer Travelmate C302
  • various Motion tablets
  • and also external serial tablets
You can run "wacom-input -h" to get a short overview of the options.
Download it here: http://www.android-x86.org/download

Stefan
P.S.: Supported device types are (from wacdump): art, art2, dig, dig2, pp, gr, pl, int, int2, tpc

I have an old tabletkiosk that i can run Android on. I'm having some
problems
with the touchscreen however. wacom-input gives me 'LOBIT' error.
Maybe this tablet pc
has a different wacom protocol. Looking to see if anyone has some
hints.

I can't seem to find the download you speak of.  I'm sorry for bringing back this topic from over a year ago, however I felt that it would be redundant to start a new topic quoting an old one.  Is there an even more up-to-date version that I am missing?

This is now included in the android-x86 git repository. To use it, set
BOARD_USES_WACOMINPUT := true
in your BoardConfig.mk

It seems as if the e-mail link you provided me did not work, unfortunately (it's trying to email andr...@stefanseidel.info).  Would it be possible to provide me with a working link?

I don't know his email address. Maybe it tried to spell 'android'.
