Hi!

Finally I was able to install Android x86 to my tablet. Here is my configuration:

- Device: Teclast X98 3G
- CPU: Intel Atom Bay-Trail Z3735D (64x)
- RAM: 2GB
- Storage: 32GB (free about 10Gb)
- OS: Windows 10 Pro (32-bit) and Android x86 4.4-r3
- Mode boot: EFI

I have disabled secure boot and BitLocker was already disabled. I installed Android x86 to my tablet using Android-x86 Installer UEFI Version from XDA. Android boots up nicely but immediately shutdown because Android "thinks" that battery is empty. It doesn't matter if usb charger is connected or not. It will always shutdown. Is there any way to fix this?

I'm really anxious to fix this problem since I have come long way to be able to boot Android x86. I'm so close now so I would really like to fix this!

Before I have tried to install Remix OS and Android x86 5.1-RC1. I can't install anything from usb stick since my EFI does understand only WinPE. The installation from usb stick doesn't even start is I use Unetbootin, Rufus or Windows Media Creation Tool.

With Remix OS installer from Windows I can install Remix OS 32-bit. However booting will end to error:
- error: no such device: /RemixOS/kernel.
- error: file '/RemixOS/kernel' not found.
- error: you need to load the kernel first.
Remix OS 64-bit installation gives me failure. If I use the Installer from XDA I can install Android x86 5.1-RC1. However when I select Android OS during boot I got this error:
- "trying to terminate efi systems again"
And it will stuck there. Only Android 4.4-r3 and 4-4.r2 will boot but both shut down immediately because Android "thinks" that there is no power.

In Windows battery is showing normally. Any help here?

I found this thead where someone is facing same problem:

I was able to install and boot Android x86 5.1-rc1 when I installed it to a ext4 partition. However Android forces shutdown like earlier.

I have googling a lot now. Here is information that I have found:

Carbon Jiao has same tablet than me and he is suffering same problem:

Thanks for your release...
This release can boot by Bay trail tablet Z3735D, while force halt after 1 minutes because it cannot detect the battery BQ2744 (BQ27x00_battery maybe not work), 4.4.2.kmsg is the detail kmsg. My charger is BQ24192 1-0066, wifi is RTL8723bs, GPS is BCM4752, and accel KXCJ9-1008, FT5x0x 6-0038 FTS touch screen,
And origin.kmsg is the one from original Android 4.2 (base on tboot...)

Onda V975i is basicly same tablet and I believe that it uses same hardware:

On my Onda V975i V2 not work bluetooth and battery indicator.
Could you add them to the kernel?
Patch battery - https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=83941#c29
Bluetooth driver - https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8723bs_bt
And a small request. Please, turn 90 degrees to the accelerometer.

Also found this from 4pda (translated from Russia):

Launched on the tablet Onda V975w V2 new build of Android-x86 5.1 rc1.
android-x86-5.1-rc1.iso - wouldn't start, infinitely blinking cursor
android-x86_64-5.1-rc1.img - start, all smartly, beautifully, but root was not working, even in the terminal Alt+F1(says something about the incompatibility between the 32 and 64bit).
If you do not see the battery, it shuts down during boot.
The orientation of the accelerometer horizontal.
Touch, wifi, sound are present. Of Bluetooth no.
The volume buttons do not work, the button works.

Overall looks nicer than 4.4.

Does anyone know how this Russian guy (granper316) was able to test his tablet if it shutting down immediately

Can I use nobattery.patch for my situation? I found this patch from here:
It makes Android to think that battery is always 100%. If this method works how can I put that patch to Android?

Thanks!

I found Carbon Jiao build from Teclast forum but the download link is dead. Here is the information:

3.18.2+
user@osboxes #21
Wed Jan 21 11:33:17 CET 2015

OpenGL driver version
GL Vendor: Intel Open Source Technology Center
GL Renderer: Mesa DRI Intel(R) Bar Trail x86
GL Version: OpenGL ES 3.0 Mesa 9.2.0-devel (git-c5c43d6)

android_x86-userdebug 4.4.4 KTU84Q eng.carbon.20150114.164528 test-keys

Is there any change to rebuild it? This build can boot without force shutdown:

"At present work are:
1, the touch can be used, each with its own evaluation of the effect;
2, WIFI normal use, and other unknown whether there Shuisi;
3, the graphics card to work, 3D acceleration untested;
4, card reader;

unable to work are:
1. battery;
2. USB power supply;
3. To the GPS;
4. the Bluetooth;

......

now known serious BUG:
1, battery and power management does not recognize an external USB power supply;
2, .. ."
