Need help with wifi

So i have the brcm 43142 wifi driver i noticed that the live usb does not have working wifi with this driver. On ubuntu i'd just in stall the wl package, on manjaro i'd install the bcrm package and download the hcd file but im not sure on how to set it up on androidx86.

Android-x86 has included the wl driver.

Check 'ifconfig wlan0', what's the driver?

Try 'modprobe wl', then 'ifconfig -a'.
Does the wlan interface appear?

Looks good. The wl driver was loaded
even before modprobe wl.

What's wrong with it?

It's not loading or finding any wifi at all
