Generating iso

Hi All,

I download android source from AOSP, and complied for generic x86. but it didn't generated iso image. Can any one please let me know what changes i need to do in AOSP sourc to generate ISO. Please help me to resolve this issue.

What command you used to compile?
Use $ make efi_img -j# (where #= no. of jobs to give)

Hi Guneet Atwal

I used $ make efi_img -j4  but i got the below error. Can you please help me understand what coule be the issue.

genisoimage: No such file or directory. Invalid node

This sounds like you do not have the "genisoimage" command installed on your
system.

Check your distribution's package manager for genisoimage and install it.

If you still have problems, tell us which distribution and which version of
Linux you are running this on.

Hi Antony,

Thanks for  reply,
I already have genisoimage installed in my PC.

genisoimage is already the newest version (9:1.1.11-3ubuntu2).

My ubuntu is 18.04 version with linux  4.15.0-22-generic

Okay, is it in the $PATH for the user running the make command?

/usr/bin/genisoimage is already included in $PATH. Not sure whats the problem.

Try the command:

$ make -j4 iso_img showcommands

It will show you what commands are executed exactly.
