Hi Eduardo,

did you have any success using Android x86 and Intel GMA 3600?

Hi all,

I too have an Asus x101ch and, though not a coder and not too bright, have been able to install 4.4 onto this netbook.  It's installed as the only operating system on the netbook, so no Windows dual boot or anything complicated....it boots straight into Android.  Its working well, but is also effected by this problem of slow motion in video files (youtube etc).

I've read annad M's tip on replacing some libs to get ARM to work, but can't figure out how to do this.  Presumably, I need to copy these files onto the hard drive in the appropriate system/lib directories ... but I can't do that.  I'm able to install aps from Google Play, or copy .jpegs or mp3's without any problem, so I assume I can't access the system/lib folders because it has to be rooted somehow?

Are there any simple instructions for this?  I assume I need these ARM hacks even though I've installed 4.4.

Finally, got to say thanks to everyone who has worked on the Android-x86 project.  You've enabled me to turn a virtually useless netbook running Win7 (which is way too much a task for such an under-powered device) into something which is actually useable.  Really impressed with what you've done here to bring Android to PC users.  And all for free in your own time - fantastic!
