I been trying for hours with no luck I have Dell Inspiron 15 3537 with i3 as I got a good deal FREE LoL you can beat that.
Toss in a old 320 Hitachi
What are step to get Marshmallow 6.0-r3 64bit ? install in UEFI mode

I know I can do this Legacy DVD Boot
1: Create a partitions by choosing 'Create/Modify partitions' and make it bootable.
2: Format to ext4
3: Yes install boot loader Grub
The installation will begin, and you will see the progress bar.
4: Reboot

But with UEFI DVD Boot it is no go if I try do the same as above and even try min diff way.
1: Create a partitions by choosing 'Create/Modify partitions' and make it bootable.
2: Format to ext4
3: Yes install boot loader Grub 2 EFI
The installation will begin, and you will see the progress bar.
4: Reboot
On restart I just get a error! message top left hand corner on boot.

Try installing the grub manually...
I don't EFI so I can't help there.. But that could be the problem... Pull the HDD and put it on another device to rule out incompatibility...

I had mine on s dell 1505 and 1750, and yours sounds newer..

Yes sure do, but only in a VM, thats where I started getting lost as i wanted to try to learn UEFI. still tho, and im known for doing things the hard way lol you could just install linux download and install grub customizer then make another grub entry copying the linux grub but changing (copy/paste ) the load directory to ax86 then if it still errors out its more then likely a compatibility issue.. Search the groups here for the proper format for Android there's loads of them.

Other options is a grub spoofer, i considered it a while back, it'd allow me to use UEFI on a BIOS that is legacy grub only decided it wasnt worth the risk as this is my everyday pc..

But you might be able to use legacy grub with success... If your BIOS doesnt support it...

And ive found over the years  just because it works on live boot doesn't mean it works on a hard install, not sure why... C. W. would know better on that then me.
