How is it possible to close apps?

This may be an idiotic question.

How can I close an app in the emulator? For example, if I click on the Chrome icon then Chrome runs. But how do I close it down?

In Windows or Linux I would click the "x" and it would close. How can I do this in the emulator?

It is done the same way as per an Android tablet or smartphone

Press the recent apps button in Navigation Bar, then you are able to "Close" (or push up/away) a single App
