Hi guys,
I'm a big fan from the Android x86 but I get no touchscreen, wifi and touchpad on my Sony Vaio Duo 13. Touchscreen und touchpad works on ubuntu 14, wifi not.
About the Wifi problem I found a thread, but its in german. http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/sony-vaio-duo-13-unter-ubuntu-14-04-kein-wlan/2/

It would be awesome if anyone can help me. I will donate to Android x86 if we get the touchscreen to work and about the Wifi, I think a small dongle will solve it.

Tanks to all helpers.

Which Android-x86 release have you tested (RC1, RC2, r1)?

Can you provide logcat / dmesg / lsmod outputs from Android?

touchpad, touchscreen are usually usb
wifi is usually pcie or otherwise integrated in pci bus.
USB comes off the PCI, do your usb ports in the back work?
If this turns out to be the case, I think you have to tweak the pci on boot, setting the pci root.

But its been a long long time since I did that, and I dont remember how...
sorry I cant be more help.

been a problem for about a year or so as I recall....

Broadcom wireless and Linux = good luck with that

Ubuntu finally got it working in I think was 13.04, by the time they came
out with 13.10 / 1404 Broadcom still hadn't caught up with the drivers for
Linux....and so go the cycle!!!

For those who had repeated BroadComm WiFi issues, a new test build
available here:

********************************************************************
WARNING: If you want to give it a try, keep in mind that:
 - These changes may contain bugs that could cause DATA LOSS
 - The hybrid wl driver has been replaced by the open source drivers
     BRCMSMAC/b43

Use it AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU WERE ADVISED
********************************************************************

Please identify your broadcom chip (works/doesn't work):

  on linux use lspci -k

  on windows use device manager

my only available test device linksys WMP54G(v3) worked fine....need more test cases(devices)
