does houdini not support hyperthreading?

only 4 cores can be used.

I don't think anybody can answer that except Intel itself. But given the secrecy surrounding houdini, it's unlikely you'll ever get an answer.

Which houdini version is it? if it is old houdini v7 on nougat, could you try with houdini v9 on pie or houdini v11 on Android 11?
