Please indicate whether there is in any version of android x86 AMD Geode LX800 platform. Browsing the forum and trying to install the available versions can not see any hard drive. Ideally, if the indicated version of android x86 operate a touch panel. I have a packard bell s18 netbook with AMD Geode on board.
Maybe someone can compile and make available a version?

The AMD Geode LX800 uses a CS5536 chipset helper. I have built a few linux kernels for this hardware. One needs to make sure this cs5536 helper is built in to the kernel and not as a module. Then upon boot you will stand a better chance of seeing your legacy 44pin pata interface. I believe that one  also needs to build the pata cs5536 in to the kernel as well. Look at this link for more and possibly contacting the code writer would reveal more information. I am using a webdt312 which is newer than yours however i still have some LX800 hardware around.

Hopefully this helps. It seems the geode is one of the older systems on a chip out there.

Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, I am poorly versed in linux. If you have a version of linux / android on my platform, or you know that works, please indicate. Ideally, the service was out of touch and bluetooth.

Several versions of linux will support your hardware. Android is a different story. Without the cs5536 in the kernel you would need to stay with usb boot. This is not my thread to hijack. AMD Geode is so old that it is nearing obsolete. WebDT tablets used this hardware set and possibly searching on that term will land you somewhere helpful. If you can find a live linux that will boot and allow you to open a terminal run this:

cat /proc/bus/input/devices

and report the model and vendor of your touchscreen. I am toying with trying to rebuild android kernel to support webdt312 platform, not too off from the original gma500 eeepc. Your feedback will help me determine (if I can rebuild) what to build in for "legacy" support. Thank you.

This will not work at this point as Android  now requires SSE in the CPU. Look for a WebDT312 with Atom CPU if you wish to run Android on webdt.
