If you cannot install DRM-ridden apps like Netflix, try side-loading them. Play Store often blocks rooted devices from downloading apps with DRM.
If you already have DRM apps installed but can't play videos, then not much you can do.
Movie studios these days are simply paranoid about using DRM.
