Hey guys, I see this is an active group and I am hoping someone could shed some light on ARM Translations.

I might be going off course since I am wanting to get a better ARM Translator to be used in Genymotion, I apologise but home the experts can assist. I have been in the genymotion group, but clearly no one really active there.

I am trying to run an app on genymotion, namely a game called Star Wars Force Collection. Recently the game updated and it cannot load anymore. I tried most emulators and bluestacks is the only stable. However, I like the flexibity of genymotion and quick loading.

I have done some googling and here is the information I gathered.

1. Genymotion ARM translations is not as up to date as suspected. Given it's writen by a third party, there is no real update since v1.1. I think this is the main reason why the app does not work. Its a OpenGL problem.

2. Bluestacks uses its own custom translation, which in this case the app works.

3. Just today I stumbled on Qemu translations, and wondered can it replace ARM translations as a viable option.

So now, can someone help me on this ARM translation issue. Or can someone put me in the right direction on how to get the app running?

Thank you guys!

Have you tried Andy ? In my experiences, the ARM Translator works well in Andy.

Just bumping here,

Anyone have some expertise on the libhoudini and/or know how can it be updated, more so on genymotion? I was hoping it would be similar to android x86?
