Install applications such as .apk files or their source code. I have a
generic-x86.iso run in a vmware and I want to install applications on
it.
Maybe this is not a problem of you, but I am a new comer~ Thanks a lot!

Well you can do it 2 ways...

1: have the apk on lets say the sdcard in the virtual machine and then use OI File explorer to install the apk with (Just click on the apk)

then have the apk on the local computer, and when you are connected to the virtual android-x86 type this:
adb install <path/to/the/apk/on/the/computer.apk> (Ofc without <>)

Hope that helps...

Or, just put the apk on your local http server (I have a apache
running on my windows 7, you can just run hfs (http://www.rejetto.com/
hfs/) instead of it), and than use browser to install it.

oh, i think hfs is indeed a powerful tool, but when i tried to
download the .apk file from the url provided by hfs in the browser, i
got "No SD card" error. How can i create one?
