The "SDCARD variable" methods provided on http://www.android-x86.org/documents/sdcardhowto
seems only suitable for temporarily mount a a SD card, i.e., SD card
will be lost due to the OS reboot. Anyone knows way to permanently
mount a SD card in android-x86 OS?

Thank you again!

We support many types of sdcard.
Except the ramdisk type, all are permanent.

but after i power off the OS, and restart it from the grub, the SD
card becomes unavailable...
Are you Chinese? I heard that this project is conducted mainly by some
Chinese (or Taiwanese...)

Does this pen drive acts as a permanent sd card? Do you know how to
simulate a fake sd card permanently?

when i am in the GNU GRUB:
if i press "a" and it shows "<cpi_sleep=s3_bios,s3_mode video=-16
DPI=240 SRC=/android-2010-12-10" and then i often add "
SDCRAD=premount" to it.
if i press "e" and it shows like:
kernel /android-2010-12-10/kernel quiet root=/dev/ram0 androidboot-
ha...
initrd /android-2010-12-10/initrd.img
if i press "c" and it shows like: grub>
the file "/proc/cmdline" exists but is empty and readonly.

i don't know what exactly "kernel boot command lines" you mean...

Make sdcard folder in /android-2010-12-10 or /android-2010-12-10/
data,it will keep your data after reboot.
1.6r2 supports ntfs and ext2 fs but 2.2 doesn't. Please refer to the
sdcard howto.
