hello guys on android 9.0 pie 32bit .when i enablae native briged from settings i dont dont houdini so what i did is download houdini9_y.sfs and did
mkdir /sdcard/arm
cp houdini9_y.sfs /sdcard/arm
setprop persist.sys.nativebridge 1

it extracted stuff to arm and libhoudini so
enable native bridge
(i have tried 64bit kernel too)
now all armv7 apps crashing but without houdini armv7 apps was working like zarchiver (arm7) verison, but if i disable native bridge from settings again zarchiver (armv7 ) works again. but games like pubg mobile and codmobile crashes no matter if i enable or disable native bridge.
i also tried houdini from pixel slate chrome os r71 same crashes .
so its mean libhoudini is not compatible with 32bit is there any fixes i have tested with 32bit kerne and 64bit kernel

IIRC, Y version is for 64-bit kernel and 32-bit userspace.

Perhaps you can try tweaking the ordering for abilist in /system/build.prop? Just a thought.

Houdini_9x is needed for 32 bit, houdini pie 32 bit X version not released yet

In theory you can use houdini for older Android versions (eg. 6, 7, 8) on Pie right?

If old houdini can work on newer android pie, then why would a separate version of houdini exist for pie?

No, that is generally not true. The emulated code needs to work hand-in-hand with the native code to manage things like threads or memory allocation. So houdini is strongly bound to a specific Android version.
