Hi all

My P1801-T had a problem where it seemed to have lost its connection to google apps and the google service framework. Most of the apps were working fine (non-Google Apps), but Play, Gmail, etc weren't. So I decided to do a factory reset.

When it rebooted, it came up with the set up menu, but also with the following errors:

"unfortunately, the process com.google.android.gsf.login has stopped" and then when I click okay, it says "Unfortunately, the process com.google.gapps has stopped". I get up to the Set up account screen and then it bounces me back to choosing what country I'm in.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you think I would be able to use one of the firmware versions here https://www.asus.com/support/Downloa...U5b7sGNz0u/32/ to reinstall android using a micro SD card? Or any of the other files available here: https://www.asus.com/us/All-in-One-PCs/ASUS_Transformer_AiO_P1801/HelpDesk_Download/

I'm at a complete loss. And I LOVED my tablet as I use it all the time to read sheet music at the piano.

Any help would be most appreciated.

That device comes with Android pre-installed, and it has an Nvidia Tegra 3
ARM-based CPU, therefore I think it very unlikely that you're running Android-
x86 on it.

Well, that's not very helpful.  Do you have any suggestions for fixing the issue on an ARM-based CPU?

I think that what Antony meant, that this forum is only about porting Android operating system to x86 based devices (tablets, desktops, and laptops that have x86 based processors, not ARM) and has nothing to do with ARM-based devices. It seems that you are using ARM-based device and it has nothing to do with this forum.

You might try to use google with searches like "com.google.android.gsf.login stopped" or "com.google.gapps stopped" and see what comes up and in the future try to be more aware of the forum, you are posting your question to. I genuinely hope you can find your solution trough google.
