to Android-x86
So I loaded x86 9.0-r2.iso  on my laptop. I needed to be able to use  the wifi but that , as well as the Bluetooth, were the only features that weren't working I guess. I'm used to getting my tips from Google so I decided to go there. Then I started seeing stuff like grub and debugging, with all the codes and stuff. For someone who knows nothing about coding and not much about computers, it was discouraging.

Also, I forgot that there is a link on the android x86 website to the Google groups page, so I went to Google search looking for groups where I can post the issue. I posted one on tomshardware some days back. Later on in found this group.

It's a pretty old laptop running on windows 7 but I wanted to use andoid x86 on it. Also, on windows, the wifi couldn't connect to my phones hotspot initially.  I had to add the mac address manually before it could connect.

So the very first time I was able to connect to wifi on android x86, I was on windows at first, then I decided to connect the wifi. I can't remember if I shut down immediately or if I disconnected before shutting down but when I booted into android x86, the wifi was connected automatically to the hotspot.
So since that day, I connect wifi on windows first, shutdown without disconnecting, then when I go into android x86, the wifi is connected automatically.
Thanks guys.
