Hey.  I got 4.4 working and installed, and just now noticed it's got no play store. I did side load it, but it just exits. Which made me wonder why it never asked me to log into my Google account. I had seen http://www.linuxinsider.com/story/80202.html. Is this why stuff is missing or is it just not installed at this time?

Yes I had to build a custom kernel to make it work on my machine. So it's what ever is included in the repo.

If you can run apps without crashes, it's STABLE.

I placed that in the system folder and nothing seemed to happen. Searching around the web that seems to an update package, but I don't have the google services to update. I'm sure I'm missing some thing but what?

what you need is to extract this file, and in any root powered file manager (for ex: ES File Explorer) mount "/" and "/system" in rw (in es you need to click on root explorer and activate it the hit the root explorer, not the YES/NO but the actual text, and then hit mount .... and change "/" and "/system" to rw) then hit Alt+F1 and do a cd command line to go to the extracted folder and write down "cp system /" (w/o quotes and there is a space btwn "cd" and "system" and "/" line that (I will mark spaces w/ "_" ) : cp_system_/ ) and then reboot. :)

Just to make sure what you mean.  Merge the system folder from the archive to the system folder on the android install, and every should be active? I assume the optional folder and script are optional, but what about the META-INF folder? Is it importaint?
