I'm running into an odd problem when I'm trying to install another new 8.1 image where I disabled power suspend but enable hibernation (don't know how to copy over just the new kernel so doing a re-install). When I select the first install option (manual partition selection) and pick the partition with at least 47GB, the install would stop and complain there isn't enough space. However, if I use the auto install to hard drive option, it install perfectly fine except the system is read only and I can't modify the BuildProp file. When I try to re-install again using the first method, it would fail again regardless if I re-format the partition or not. I took an known working ISO and re-installed it using the manual drive selection method and it worked fine. So I'm not sure what's going on. Could this be a dirty built (not using Clean when building) or corrupt data when I copy the ISO file from another machine? Beside installing again just to use a new kernel, is there a way to just replace the kernel file? I recall there was instructions way back in the 4.4 days but can't seem find the file on my device.
