Yes.

Exactly the same as for any combination of Operating Systems on a single
machine.

The fact that more than one partition on the computer has (a version of) the
same O/S installed is neither here nor there as far as Grub is concerned.

Just read some of the many online articles about "Grub dual boot" and take the
idea from there.

Once you've tried, if you run into problems, come back wirh details and we'll
try to help further.

I have win7 installed with ax86-7.1 plus ax86-8.1 where I skipped the grubmenu. so I do have a bootmenu for win7 and ax86-7.1 but don't have the slightest idea
how to add ax86-8.1 to that menu.

Ah :(

If by "bootmenu" you mean something provided by Windows 7, then you should
probably be asking your question on an MS Windows list rather than here.

If you are referring to the Grub boot selection screen, then I refer you to my
previous reply - read some of the many online articles about "Grub dual boot"
and take the idea from there.

Tat link refers to instructions on how to change the order of the menu items. But you can easily add new items to boot... Just use a different folder for each OS and add a boot menu entry with the changed folder.

This should be very easy by simply copying and pasting the existing grub menu entry for ax86-7.1 and then merely changing the necessary parts, e.g. OS name, device uuid (if on a different partition), and finally each and everly folder name.
