Any success on Acer Aspire One?

greetings -

    I installed Android x86 on an Acer AspireOne, model 531h. This is an Atom N270 machine I maxed out at 2Gb ram.

   Using version 8.1 of Android the machine is sluggish and the UI crashes, though I am able to install 8.1 compatible apps.

    Also the touchpad on my device does not work.

  I am going to try Android 6 to see if I get better results.

  Any clue on what I might have to do to make the touch pad work as well?

  A mouse works fine so I am not completely out of luck.
