Hi all,

I am unable to change the display resolution of Android x86_64 7.1 RC2 when running on VirtIO/VirGL.

What I have tried already:

* Setting the kernel flags vga or video
* Setting the GRUB flag gfxpayload=keep
* Setting debug.drm.mode.force in /android/default.prop in Debug mode

I confirmed that display resolution changing works with an Ubuntu 17.10 amd64 live system guest (latest daily build from 2017-10-19) running with nearly identical VM configuration. (The only
difference is that I did not attach storage to the Ubuntu VM.)

Software stack:

* Debian 9.0 (stretch) with Linux 4.13.4 (from stretch-backports)
* qemu 2.10.1 (backported manually from newer Debian)
* libvirt 3.8.0 (backported manually)
* virt-manager 1.4.3 (backported & updated manually)

Relevant VM configuration (from virt-manager):

* Firmware: UEFI (using OVMF 0~20171010.234dbcef-1 installed from newer Debian)
* Chipset: Q35
* CPUs: 2 (with host-passthrough configuration)
* RAM: 4096 MiB
* Display: Spice server with Listen type "None". "OpenGL" setting is enabled, and associated drop-down menu is "Auto"
* Sound: ich9
* Video: Model "Virtio" with "3D acceleration" setting enabled.

Anyone have ideas?

Thanks,
Eloston
