Going to be tough to say because everyone's testing different hardware and different builds.

I did a lot of research through Android-IA archives and forum posts here. The Intel 7260AC WiFi/BT card is probably your best bet when it comes to compatibility. The WiFi has worked on every single build I've tried, and on the newer Lollipop builds the BT is actually working flawlessly.

It's going to come down to the hardware you need, but to be honest you will probably have to compromise on one thing or another, unless you plan to put in some effort developing for your hardware. I specifically wanted a tablet with a wacom digitizer for note taking and college and the ability to dual boot Android. I narrowed down my choices and settled on the Toshiba Portege Z10t.

Moral of the story is there doesn't seem to be guarantees with this project. I'd say start with what you're looking for in terms of actual hard specs (screen size, processor, etc), and start researching from there.
