Hello,

I first installed marshmallow RC2 and set it up. Everything was working fine, except that the power button didnt respond the way it normally does on AOSP roms on my phones. When i press it once, it goes to the power menu instead of locking the screen. I didnt mind this on RC2 since my device would wake from sleep, so locking the screen wasnt useful.

Ive now upgrade to the first stable release, R1. Now the device can wake just fine when I put it to sleep via double tap on Nova Launcher. But now I would like the power button to also put the device to sleep instead of just displaying the power menu.

Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

FYI I kept my data partition from my RC2 install. I'd really like to avoid setting up a new data partition, but I guess I will if it will allow the power button to have normal AOSP behavior. But I'd def like someone to confirm this would work before I wipe it!

Thank in advance for your help~!!

Set the property

poweroff.doubleclick=1

which means pressing power button once
works like AOSP, while pressing it twice
quickly invokes power menu.
