I am running the latest Android x86 Oreo Rom, sadly I don't have any Wifi. My Wifi stick is an Edimax with RTL8812AU chip, PC itself is an Asrock Beenox N3150. Wifi works in Windows and Libreelec, but Android: no.
Before I've tried Bliss Rom, but it had the same fault (+ some other bugs).
How can I install this driver? - https://github.com/embeddednow/rtl8812au
I see the instruction for Linux, but how does it work in Android?

Would be nice, if someone can help me or point me into the right direction.

The driver is included in our image.
If it doesn't work, try to load it manually: (open a terminal)

su
modprobe 8812au
ifconfig

Then see if wlan0 is available.

Wlan0 is available, but it still shows only VirtWifi. Can't find any other Wifi networks...

I think that's because the driver is not auto loaded.
Not sure why. Try to boot to debug mode, type

modprobe 8812au

Then type 'exit' twice to continue booting.

If this works, you may add EXTMOD=8812au to cmdline.

Still doesn't work :-(
And I've looked again, on another page I found the info the chip is 8811au...

I've tried the commands with 8812au and 8811au.
