How i can select disk to install loader in default installer?

to Android-x86

I want to install Android-x86 on my pendrive (not LiveUSB). But I'm scared about the MBR (Master Boot Record). I don't want to have a computer, that boots only from pendrive. I must select a drive to install Android-x86 or i must do something else?
