Hello,
what is best Touch to keyboard mapping utility for Android x86? Its lots of game, which are still doesnt suport gamepads..

I know that Phoenix has such utility in build but how about Android x86, i tried many in the past but, they were problematic, half-working and cumbersome..

Funny I was looking for exactly this now, and I came here to create a topic of games that do not work on x86 android and work on customizations like phoenix and others, I will test with tincore keymapper, I believe that for the pure version of android x86 is best choice.

Thanks post results pleas, i tried it 1,5 - 2 years back it wasnt smooth - problem could be in app and Android-x86 or only in my misunderstooding how it works.. I would really like to play for example Carmaggedon on keyboard or controller, mouse would be probably even more problematic..

I have tried new version of Tincore is still a mess.. its complicated and not intuitive for me..

Such tool has to be very intuitive to be successful, because whole necessity of map something is annoying and should be quick as possible.

With gamepad + touchscreen, it could wrong, because you could for some rare screens use touch and but for device with non touch option, its complicated..

  - gestures are impossible
 - you need simulate touch with real mouse or use controller with as mouse
 - if game has multiple controlls type screens - you will need multiple profiles

For something bettter you we will something like bitmap elements checking or switch profiles automatically in reaction on pressed keys.. For example - Inventory screen key, Menu screen key, normal game HUD etc..

I was just experimenting with Ticore, i even bought it.

I made Carmageddon working with X360 controller, but configuration process is cumbersome at the best.. Maybe nice code, but GUI sucks a lot. Few notes:
- at execution, you are prompted to enable autodownload profiles - disable it, because when you try apply your profile, original is redownloaded and its not working
- how to map, just start Ticore before game start or after before mapping, otherwise there would be problems with other application
- go to target game screen
- drawn android topmenu a click on Tincore icon - awfull sidescreen wizzard will appear
- in topmenu of wizzard just select PRE:Gamepad / or just start to press buttons (a their icons will apprear on screen one by one) - half transparency buttons will aprear on screen
   - place buttons on target gui elements - there shoudl be animation, when you pressing the buttons - good for check, that controller is working
- now click no check - button in top menu save profile.. Transparent buttons will disappred, but you mapped controls should now work.
   After gameplay, stop Tincore service.

Ignore message like discovering device etc..

What i dont know - how unneeded mapped button, there would be some simple way, but its not intuitive.
