ISSUE : Circle seems to be OVAL - Android Screen resolution 1280 x 1024 - 17 inch

Hi Guys,

I have build android 4.4 & running fine on INTEL MACHINE

But i have a issue of screen resolution
When i see clock on the home screen the clock seems OVAL, where as android clock is CIRCLE in real.

My Screen size : 17 inch
Resolution : 1280 x 1024

Hi, are you using your intel igp or you have a separated video card? If so, what is the brand/model?

Also, your monitor is a 4:3 or 16:9 screen format?

My screen is 16:10 ratio ,
i have just connect using vga to the screen.

My Screen size : 17 inch
Resolution : 1280 x 1024

Hi, This is a 5:4 res

Try changing your resolution to 1280×800 or 1440×900 (16:10 ratio).

Depending on your video card, there's a different procedure to change it. 

If using vesa mode, change the parameter VGA=xxx (for instance VGA=868, which corresponds to 1440x900).

You can try a  setprop debug.drm.mode (see https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/android-x86/ChDu1PseZQ8)
