[Noob] Black Screen With Blinking Cursor ( _ )

Hey, I want to install Android x86 on my laptop but when I boot it up, it shows a bunch of stuff, A N D R O I D something@something and then the whole screen just goes black, with the _ still there. It works perfectly fine on the live cd

CPU: i3-4005U @ 1.7ghz
RAM: 3.8GB
GPU: Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400
Display: 1366x768

I have similar specs to you and I have been trying to get this OS to boot from my computer with all kinds of different ways. Nobody here is going to help you and no methods have worked for me: neogrub, grub 2, or easybcd. The only method that DOES work for me is using the grub1 installer on it, but the problem is, if I use that option, it allows me to boot it and my windows, but my ubuntu partition becomes unbootable. Like I said, nobody cares to address the blank cursor boot screen here.
