I would love to see Android on my HP Slate 500.

Which version if any, I could try with best results.

I am willing to test run anything and share results.

I bet im not the only one that would love to see Android on their
Slate.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, I tested several versions, all versions boot fine as "live"

but several things are not working;

1. Touch Screen (NTrig)
2. Sound
3. Camera
4. Wifi

Bluetooth works fine

Do you think you can work yourself through the instructions at

http://www.android-x86.org/documents/how-to-add-new-x86-platforms

Otherwise, I may be able to help you if you're a bit patient.

I do have access to another device of a friend of mine which is also
using NTrig and I am working on support for that one.

There seems to be a contingent of HP Slate owner wanting to run
Android...of which I am one.

I got the 3.2tegav RC1 to run on my Slate tonight. With my wireless MS
keyboard and mouse I could not interface at all, but when I switched
to just a wireless mouse (a Logitech and later an HP) they both let me
navigate around a bit. changed the wallpaper though the "live
wallpapers" seemed to hang. I even started the camera app (though it
wouldn't take a picture even with an SD card in the built-in card
slot. So at the very least I need to build in touch support and wifi.
I guess I'll head back to the "how to add new x86 platforms
instructions and see if i can figure out how to do this.
