I just received from my fiance for Christmas an Acer Iconia Tab W500.
The refreshed version with the amd c-60 apu. I have tested all Android
x86 build for amd and none have working touch screen. Has anyone had
any success maybe with other builds.

I have the W500 with the C-50 but I don't see why it would be
different. I installed ICS amd-brazos from a CD and touch didn't work.
I rebooted it without the dock plugged it and without holding the
Windows button or the volume rocker (quick boot) and the touch screen
does work. Wifi works as well so you can browse the internet.

Christmas builds have fixed the touch problem. It works perfectly now,
including sound. Still no suspend working. How is that working for
you?

when I choose my USB drive from the boot select screen, all I get
is a double line telling me:
'Start booting from USB device...'
'SYSLINUX 3.86 2010-04-01 EBIOS Copyright (C) 1994-2010 H. Peter Anvin et
al'

and nothing happens.

What can I do?

Just get image writer 32 from launchpad. In the open dialog type *.iso
and select the image and write it to an usb or sd.
